Stories that shift perspectives & inspire change.

It’s powerful to hear a story told in the voice of the person who lived it. Even more so when that voice is overcoming its own challenges to be heard.

As a result of Suchita’s condition, her voice was reduced to a whisper through damage to the nerves of her vocal chords and tongue. However, this hasn’t stopped her from sharing her stories in whatever ways she can. While it altered her speech and pronunciation, over 18 years, with much practice and persistence, she’s got her voice back. You’ll notice Suchita speaks slower, with intention, and audiences become more attentive as a result.

Suchita brings warmth, authenticity, humour, wisdom and thoughtful conversation, whether she is speaking at schools, libraries, festivals, community events or professional gatherings. Her talks explore important life issues — resilience, challenges, love, acceptance, body issues, disability and the extraordinary strength that can be found in everybody.
